The tenth edition of the Fair of Flavours will take place, as tradition now dictates, on the Šance meadow by the Black Gate, and you certainly should not miss it. This anniversary edition of the popular fair will offer a varied showcase of honest products, tempting tastes and aromas, connecting local tradition with inspiration from abroad.
As usual, you can look forward to stalls run by small producers, farmers and makers who create with heart and put honest work, experience and personal stories into their products. Alongside domestic specialities and products from local producers, this year’s fair will also open up to the flavours of other countries. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover regional food from abroad, explore new ingredients, aromas and recipes, and be inspired by the diversity of culinary traditions. Every stall will offer something distinctive: an original recipe, an interesting story or a flavour that may surprise and delight you.
We have not forgotten the youngest visitors either: a classic wooden carousel will be ready to bring smiles to children’s faces. While the children are turning and rejoicing, parents can peacefully enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the fair.
The programme will also include a themed quiz in which you can test your knowledge of gastronomy, traditions and interesting facts connected with tastes and aromas.
The pleasant atmosphere of the morning part of the fair will be accompanied by a heligonka player, who will underline the traditional character of the gathering and put us all in the mood for an enjoyable day.
